Greetings from the City of Gentle People, Dumaguete City!

You are cordially invited to come and join us at the NEGROS ORIENTAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EXPO 2008 on December 1 – 2, 2008 at the Negros Oriental Convention Center in Dumaguete City.

IT Expo 2008 is the biggest IT event of the year in our university town. Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry in cooperation with the Negros Oriental ICT Council and the Negros Oriental Investment Promotion Center, it will have Exhibits, a Conference, and Special Events that include Offsite Web Design & Logo-making Contests, and a DOTA LAN party.

IT Expo 2008 aims to highlight the capabilities of local IT companies and showcase local IT talent, enable business-to-business interaction, generate recruitment opportunities for schools and employers, and strengthen the industry-academe-government ties that have been forged within the past 4 years.

If you are from the academe (whether student, teacher, or administrator), the government (from either the LGUs or the NGAs), or the private sector in Negros Oriental and the neighboring provinces of Negros Occidental, Cebu (south), Siquijor, Bohol, and of Northwestern Mindanao, IT Expo 2008 is for you.
