FU wins volleyball championship

    The Foundation Universiy men’s volleyball team prevailed over nine other challengers to win the 3^rd Kinoguitan Open Volleyball tournament held recently in Kinoguitan, Misamis Oriental.

    The Greyhounds brought home and the championship trophy and P40,000 cash prize donated by Kinoguitan Mayor Arsenio D. Noble, Punong Barangay Poblacion Ernido A. Dorano, and Misamis Oriental Provincial Atty. Cancio Nicanor M. Guiibone, founder of the Kinoguitan Volleyball Open.

    Greyhounds Rolando Agus was named Most Valuable Player, and Viel Christopher Oniel the Best Libero, respectively.

    Besides FU, the other participating club teams were JPC-Valencia City, Guibone-Misamis Oriental, SHAZ-Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, Iligan City, Valencia Golden Harvest, DOT-ARMM Bolibolista de Dabaw, JPC-Naawan, BXU-Butuan City, and Uswag Bugo of Cagayan de Oro.
