Another ACSATian OFF TO SINGAPORE!

ACSAT again waves Bon Voyage! to MR. LEO TEMBREVILLA, a BS Information Technology student as he leaves for Singapore on July 17, 2008 to join his fellow ACSAT Dumaguete schoolmates, Mr. Aston Rodriguez (BS Electronics and Computer Technology), Mr. Ian Catacutan (BS Information Technology), Mr. Earl James Besario (BS Computer Engineering) and Mr. Welson Gedorio (BS Computer Engineering) who are now successfully doing their practicum at PACIFIC INTERNET (PACNET) in Singapore.

After successfully hurdling all difficulties with the processing  (through the assistance of ACSAT and the Computer Studies Department of ACSAT Dumaguete), Mr. Tembrevilla finally informs Mrs. Renee Sol D. Calumpang (School Director) that he is waiting for boarding for the Singapore flight in Subic.  Mr. Tembrevilla is just among the first few ACSATians whose practicums were placed by the ACSAT Placement Office in Singapore - there are more and more students who will be placed not only for OJT or practicum but for jobs in the future.

Two successful interviewees for call center jobs in Singapore, Ms. Ophnie Patelona (BS Business Administration Major in Management Accounting) and Ms. Mheg Belnas (BS Business Administration Major in Management) are currently awaiting their second interview anytime this month.

On July 18 and 21, 2008 ACSAT will be holding a series of interviews, both online and actual (face-to-face) interviews conducted by Pacific Internet and Sentosa Management (both from Singapore). These are for replacements of the current practicum-ers who will be ending their 6-month OJT soon and for new placements for ACSAT HRM and IT students and possibly, graduates.

Further, ACSAT Dumaguete gears up for another set of HRM students for OJT in Boracay at the Boracay Regency Resort and Spa.

Fulfilling its slogan as the School of Success, ACSAT is now forging more and more partnerships abroad and of course locally, with the globally-relevant companies and first-class cruise lines and looks forward to providing more and more excellently-trained and highly-skilled workforce with international-standard capabilities.
