Celebrating ten years for friendship, Silliman University and Shikoku Gakuin University renewed last month their Academic Cooperation and Exchange Agreement. The agreement seeks to intensify the cooperative relations between the two universities, especially in developing academic and cultural exchange.
Shikoku’s Deputy President Dr. Jinno Akira was in Silliman to give a courtesy visit to Silliman President Dr. Ben S. Malayang III and personally hand over the agreement signed for renewal by Shikoku President Dr. Sueyoshi Kagawa.
Under the agreement, both institutions will undertake cooperation related to faculty and staff exchange, student exchange, and collaboration on research projects and cultural programs.
