MDC Online Systems to be Launched Soon

Early next year Metro Dumaguete College (MDC) will launch at least two online systems.  These are the Online Enrollment System and the Online Grading systems.    The development of these systems started on September, 2007.   The plan was to launch the system during the second semester enrollment, however, the college in-house programmer has not finish it due to his busy schedule.  Now the development of the systems is on its final stages.   This second semester, the teachers will be submitting their grades online.  The Online enrollment system will be used starting first semester, A.Y. 2008-2009.

The college administration is optimistic that these systems will help the college increase its enrollment and improve its services towards the students.  “Despite our limited financial resources, we will continue to invest on computerization so that we can compete with other schools whose operation is fully computerized”, the president said during the General Faculty meeting on November 14, 2007.
